How long does a DevOps Buildout take?

Accepted Answer

For a single application with a clear scope, 2–4 weeks. For multi-service architectures or projects that include Kubernetes migration and monitoring setup, 4–8 weeks. We agree on scope and timeline before starting.

Can we start with the audit and decide about the buildout later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The audit is a standalone engagement. You get the report and walkthrough, and you decide what to do with the findings. No pressure, no automatic upsell. About 70% of audit clients proceed to a buildout.

Do you work with our existing tools, or do you replace everything?

Accepted Answer

I work with your existing stack wherever possible. If you are on GitHub Actions, we stay on GitHub Actions. If you are on AWS, we stay on AWS. I only recommend migrations when the current setup is fundamentally broken and the cost of staying outweighs the cost of moving.
